The Eagle’s Nest – Our Luxury Chalet in Les Arcs.
For the 2021 season we are very excited to confirm that we are back in “The Eagle’s Nest” in Peisey-Nancroix, perfectly situated a stone’s throw from the lift and directly in the middle of the vast lift-connected trail network that reaches across Les Arcs and La Plagne. This traditional Alpine Chalet is like something out of a scene from ‘HEIDI the movie’ and has seven delightful bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities and sleeps up to 16. On the third floor there is a large living room and adjoining dining area. The living room of the chalet has a central fireplace and huge picture windows providing lovely panoramic views across the valley. The chalet features a superb jacuzzi with mountain views and a fully-stocked ber fridge. Centrally located and less than 200m from the nearest lift, the chalet also has sublime singletrack both to and from our garden. Perhaps best of all, we have a very large indoor workshop and garage area onsite.

The Catering
Each of packages includes all three of the day’s main meals, served on 6 days of 7 (Chalet staff day off is Wednesday). These are provided by our friendly and professional dedicated catering hosts (NOT cooked by the guides!), and are tailored as far as possible to your individual needs. Breakfast is served as a choice of cereals, baguettes and jams, eggs, porridge, coffee & tea etc. Lunch is provided daily, to take with you on the trails (baguette sandwich, crisps, fruit & chocolate bar). Last but certainly not least, dinner is a sumptuous 3-course meal with unlimited wine and coffee. Even the largest appetites will be satisfied by our meals and we are very experienced in accommodating any special dietary requirements (please let us know this when you book so we can prepare alternative meal options). If included in your package, afternoon tea is there for you when you come back from riding (hot and cold drinks, plus cakes/biscuits).
Evening Entertainment
After a day’s riding, we very regularly stop for a pint riding at one of several watering holes a short free-wheel away from your accomodation. In Les Arcs, Chloe and Pierre always make us mountain bikers feel very welcome at the beautifully located La Vache and we often wander up for few quiet beers in time to watch the sun set over Mont Blanc. Maxima is another friendly local option just up the valley with good music and reasonably priced drinks. In Beaufort, the Auberge du Petit Randonneur has a good selection of refreshing beers, and a nice terrace for discussing the days ride and watching the world go by whilst soaking up the afternoon’s last rays. After dinner if you’re not worn out or craving a good night’s sleep after a full-on day on the trails, there are several options at your disposal to burn the candle a bit more.
Family & Alternative Sports and Activities
Here at trailAddiction we encourage EVERYONE to get into the mountains and this includes your non-mountain biking loved ones. Why not bring them along to be a part of your holiday? Contact us for our heavily discounted non-biking rates of up to 50% off. Les Arcs has plenty of sporting activities to offer but is also great for anyone who simply wants to unwind in an idyllic setting with great weather! For the seasoned shopper, the major town of Bourg St. Maurice is only a short drive (or local bus ride) down the valley, and Annecy, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in France is jus over an hour’s drive away. Our friendly staff are locals to the area and have much experience in helping to organise family activities – from sports (walking, tennis, paragliding, canoeing, white water rafting etc…) to plain sunbathing.
